The Autism Support Program provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to eligible children.

Eligibility requirements:
-Under 9 years old at time of application
-Autism diagnosis by a child psychiatrist, developmental pediatrician, or clinical psychologist within 24 months of date of application
-Child does not qualify for Medicaid or coverage under a commercial insurance plan
-Meets specified Federal Poverty Level income guidelines (under 400% of FPL)

Balance Autism provides innovative services for children and adults with Autism throughout the state of Iowa. Our Children's Clinic in Davenport provides intensive one-on-one therapy utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Each child has an individualized treatment plan developed by a board certified behavior analyst. The treatment plan addresses communication, behavior management, social interactions, and engagement. In addition to child's therapy, parents receive at least an hour of direct training each week. This teaches parents the same strategies Balance Autism uses with their child and how they can use them at home and in the community.

Camp Courageous is a respite and recreational program for individuals of all ages with a disability.

Examples of activities include outdoor living skills, archery, arts and crafts, athletic games, swinging bridge, climbing wall, farm experience, zip line, and cooking.

Campers pay an hourly rate based on the amount of time spent at the camp. The 2015 hourly rate is $4.10.

Intellectual and physical disabilities, brain injuries, hearing or visual impairments, and autism are examples of special needs served at the camp.

Comprehensive Rehab in Muscatine provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and orthopedic/sports rehabilitation services. Independent Support Broker (ISB), Consumer Choices Option Program (CCO)

Service area: Muscatine, Scott and Louisa Counties

Populations Served: disabled children & adults who are on Medicaid HCBS waivers (excluding Children's Mental Health waiver), and who have selected Consumer Choices Option as their direct-care provision of respite, SCL, personal care, chores, homemaker assistance, and/or transportation services.

Access to Services: ages 2-65: contact case management at county or DHS offices; ages 65 & up: contact Milestones Area Agency on Aging.

Scope of service: Eligible individuals with disabilities on an HCBS waiver who select receiving in-home services through the Medicaid Consumer Choices Option Program (CCO) receive administrative support from the ISB. Program members (or guardians) select, schedule and monitor their direct care staff. The ISB assists in the setting up of services, hiring staff, and budgeting and monitoring funding and expenditures. All funding needed to cover program costs, including staff wages, comes from Medicaid.

Resident Camp: This camp is for Adults (>18 years) and Youth (4-17 years). It is a week-long camp with themes varying by week. Payment options include waiver services and private pay ($600 per week).

Supported Day Camp: This is a day program for campers ages 6-17 years. It provides a higher level of skilled care. The primary methods of payment are waiver services and county funds, however private pay is also available ($200 per week).

Bridge Camp: This day camp is for kids aged 6-12 years. The supervision ratio is 1:8 and the focus is leadership and being a good friend to peers with disabilities. This camp is only available by private pay ($150 per week).

Hershey Manor is an income-based senior living facility. Rent is 30% of the adjusted income with utilities included. Individuals must be 62 years or older to qualify. Income restrictions apply.
