ECIMC provides financial support to families in Muscatine County through Preschool, Daycare & Transportation Scholarships. Families can apply for our Early Learning Scholarships on an annual basis. ECIMC also assists in funding numerous programs throughout the county to better serve our children ages 0-5.

There is no fee for our services. We grant Early Learning Scholarships based in financial need. Preschool through a flat fee and Childcare on a sliding scale.

The Errand Service provided by Senior Resources offers transportation within Muscatine County to places such as the bank, pharmacy, and doctor/hospital. They can also assist with picking up groceries. Call 563-263-7292 for pricing.
JARC provides rides for work, education and support services. Hours of operation are 5:30pm-12am, Monday through Saturday. Call 563-263-8152 at least one day in advance to schedule. Fare is $2.00/ride.
Public Transit provider for City of Muscatine. MuscaBus operates four fixed routes and complementary ParaTransit (Shuttle) service for individuals who cannot access route buses due to disability. MuscaBus also offers night time service for employment or training called JARC (Job Access Reverse Commute) on Monday - Saturday til midnight. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 9:30, passengers can ride New Freedom buses for any purpose. ParaTransit (Shuttle), JARC, and New Freedom all require scheduling a minimum of one day in advance. Route times and maps are available on all buses, at City Hall, Public Works or on the City website at http://www.muscatineiowa.gov.
