Four Seasons Counseling Clinic is a full service psychology office featuring Counseling and Therapy as well as Psychological Assessment. The Free Mental Health Clinic is a student-run organization that helps bridge
the gaps in existing mental health care. We aim to provide earlier and easier access to care to prevent the escalation of treatable symptoms into emergent problems.Our clinic is held every other Saturday in the downtown Community Mental Health Center in Iowa City. Volunteer students are actively involved in patient care, and the clinic is overseen by a volunteer staff psychiatrist from the University.We provide diagnostic and follow-up care for our patients, which includes medication management for common psychiatric disorders, referral assistance for long-term mental health care, and other necessary related services.

Brief Intensive Services offers 6 months of in home services to youth and their families. The goals of the program include increasing formal and informal supports for families, improving family functioning, improving school performance, and decreasing involvement with DHS and/or the juvenile justice system. Family Advocacy Program provides in home skill development, to youth who have been diagnosed with a serious mental health issue and their families. Examples of diagnosis include: depression, ODD, anxiety, RAD, bipolar disorder, PDD, autism, etc. Services can include, but are not limited mental health education, resource connection, parent support, crisis line available, parenting support, skill development, etc. Youth can not qualify for title 19 (Medicaid). No insurance is needed, as this service is available to youth and their families at no cost.
