4 year old Preschool only: Free (plus lunch fees)

Busy Hands offers daycare for all students (PK.-6th grade) before school (as early as 7:00 AM) and after school (as late as 5:30 PM).

We are a learning center giving at-risk and underprivileged children a chance to have a safe and encouraging learning environment. Students of the after school program receive academic assistance as well as an afternoon snack and movement breaks.
Great Prairie AEA provides leadership and service to more than 35,000 students, 3,700 teachers and administrators in 33 school districts and 6 accredited, private schools across 6,360 square miles in Southeast Iowa.
The purpose of Great Prairie AEA Special Education is to serve as an educational leader in providing services to eligible individuals birth to age 21. The service area is charged with planning and supporting free and equitable access to quality educational programs along with school district staff, parents and staff from other agencies.
Each school served by Great Prairie AEA has a team that serves its special educational needs. Teams include: School psychology, Special Education consulting services, social work services, and speech-language services. Other team members who specialize in occupational therapy, physical therapy and work experience are utilized when determined necessary.
The Cedar County Center provides college credit classes, including those for high school students seeking to earn college credit early. Also available are continuing education courses and high school/GED completion.
Muscatine Community College offers both college credit and continuing education offerings through on-campus and online systems of delivery.
We are committed to delivering high-quality education and training that prepares a skilled workforce, provides affordable access to higher education, and builds and strengthens our communities.
ELL is a program for students for whom English is not their first language. It begins with a Home Language Survey that determines eligibility for the program. Classes may be separate or combined with the general school population. Para-educators and small groups are also available.
