Iowa Child Care Resource & Referral helps families make informed choices about child care.Iowa Child Care Resource and Referral gladly refers parents to child cares that may meet the needs of them and their child(ren). Referrals are given in order for parents to look into every option - DHS Licensed Child Care Centers, DHS Licensed Preschools, Registered Child Care Development Homes, non-registered home providers and Department of Education. Recommendations are NEVER given because CCR&R believes that children, providers and environments can change on a day to day basis. CCR&R encourages parents to take the time and effort to research child cares before selecting them for their child(ren) whether it is a referral from CCR&R or recommendation from a friend or previous child care provider.
Child care and preschool program for children 2 weeks to 12 years old.
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 6am-6pm
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A snack and lunch is served.
KFC Preschool is offered for 3 to 5 year olds.
To be enrolled for the three-year-old age group, a child must be 3 by September 15th and potty trained. A physical, current shot record, enrollment packet turned in, and a $25 registration fee is needed to start.
Scholarships are available. Child Care Assistance is accepted through the Department of Human Services and Resource & Referral.

Early Head Start is offered through Community Action of Eastern Iowa and serves children aged 2 weeks through 2.5 years. Pregnant mothers may apply for their child to participate once they are born. To apply you will need information proving the child's birth date and your family's income to determine if the child will qualify. Call for more specific information regarding applying for Early Head Start.
Friends and Fitness at the Muscatine Community YMCA provides child care while moms join an exercise class and then provides lunch for both mother and child(ren). This is a free program offered every Tuesday from 9:30am-12:00pm. A YMCA membership is not required to participate. The child care is provided by staff from the YMCA child care program. A bilingual facilitator is also present for Spanish-speaking families.

The Healthy Child Care Iowa Talk Line is for child care providers or families to call regarding child care information, information about child care providers, or to speak with a Child Care Nurse Consultant.
Adult day center is available for older adults or those with disabilities. The day program provides supervision, social outings, and meals during the hours of supervision. Call for more information.

Little Home Learning Center is an educational daycare that accepts children from 6 weeks through School-Age before/after school and inservice days. Rates vary by the age of the child as well as the services provided and are outline on the website. Staff are trained in CPR, first aid, universal precautions, mandatory reporting, and 10+ training hours in child development each year.

Tipton Adaptive Daycare offers care for children with special medical needs or disabilities in an integrated environment with their non-disabled peers.
We also provide services for children with behavioral or psychological needs. Though the daycare is considered a special needs daycare, the majority of children that attend the daycare do not have special needs.
Tipton Adaptive Daycare accepts DHS Title XX child care assistance and Promise Jobs reimbursement. We offer IMMT, SCL and Respite through the Medicaid Consumer Choice Option.
We are an approved provider for the Operation Military Child Care Program for dependents of deployed military members.
Any child between the ages of 2 weeks and 18 years can receive care at the center, but children with disabilities or special medical needs are given priority on our waiting list.
The West Branch Community Early Learning Center provides a safe, loving environment for children. We accept children from six weeks through fifth grade. We are a state licensed facility with a focus on developmentally appropriate programming. Our hours are 7am to 6 pm, Monday-Friday. We have been serving the West Branch Community for 30 years. Current staff training includes 1st Aid & CPR, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports, Creative Curriculum and much more.
Kids Club: available before and after school, on early out Wednesdays, no school days (except holidays), and full and part-time in the summer.
