The Women, Infants, and Children program helps provide food/nutrition assistance, education, and screening/referrals to various services for pregnant women and women with children who qualify based on income.
Community Action of Eastern Iowa is proud to be a sponsor of the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott counties in Iowa.
CACFP is a federally funded program through the United States Department of Agriculture and is available to all registered child development homes.
There are no qualifying income guidelines or a minimum number of children in care required for participation. And CACFP is absolutely free!

Community Action of Southeast Iowa is dedicated to alleviating the causes and conditions of poverty by building partnerships and strengthening people through quality services.
We have over 20 different programs and services to assist those of low income to “help people help themselves” become self-sufficient.
SHARE Iowa is a supplemental food program for Iowa residents. It provides food packages at 50% off retail value and has various pick-up locations across the state, including Burlington and Columbus Junction. The packages may be ordered online by Pay Pal or pay with cash, check, or EBT/food stamps. There are no income or age guidelines and it is open to anyone living in Iowa. SHARE also encourages volunteering at the SHARE sites and other community involvement.

Shared Blessings is a community meal program offering a free, nutritious meal and fellowship to anyone in the Cedar County area. There are no eligibility requirements to participate.

Weight Loss Muscatine is a dedicated aesthetic and wellness clinic offering weight loss services that are medically monitored by a physician. There is an in-house pharmacy as well as capabilities for lab draws and EKG. Insurance does not cover weight loss services but may cover the labs and EKG if ordered offsite.
